We then caravaned to the Matheson House, Mary Cunningham's Smoke House, the Thompson House, and the Richard's (Joseph Cunningham) House, ending the day at the Henry Brown House.

The Alexander Matheson House built around 1853
Jack Perry built the house for his daughter Mary Perry. Current owner is our Cuz Sylvia Croxton.

Joseph Cunningham house built late 1700s
after Civil War, passed to the Richards family.

Henry Brown house built 1840-42
Jane Curry Brown grew up in this house, famous for it's spiral staircase mortised on a single post.

The Columns built 1850-1854
Built by James Shropshire Thompson; currently owned by a member of the Thompson family.
